Utah vs. BYU

We have a daughter and son-in-law (and other family members) who have graduated from the U (and currently attend there!!) We have a son currently going to BYU so we are very conflicted...
But since the U is undefeated we would be excited to see them have an undeafeated season and go to a big bowl game!!! GO TEAMS!!!!

Card Club Reunion!!

Okay, so every year my old card group (a group of 10 ladies) get together and swap hand made cards and have a great evening of card swapping, lots of laughter and FOOD!! So my old SCV friends decided to include me even tough I don't live there anymore (afterall, I did start the group)!! They told me about it way in advance (which of coarse I waited til the last minute to make my cards) Somehow I made plans to go to Utah on the same night. So unfortunately, I could not go (VERY SAD!!) I made a card, just made up in my not so creative head. I hated the card. So I decided since I was going to Utah I would ask Tiffany to help me make my cards cuter (cuz they are all about cute cards in Utah!!) So anyways, Tffany thought my idea was cute so I am posting the final results!! I miss my girls in card club-shout out to Mimi, Susan, Corrie, Jennifer, Katie, Tiffany Mique, Rachael and Cami!!! Love you guys!!!

Shannon cut bangs!!!!

Robert's Court of Honor!!!

Robert finally had his Court of Honor. It was held in Santa Clarita so he could participate with Ximmer Conkling (Robert's oldest friend) and other boys from our old ward. It was a great evening. His brother Ryan escorted him. His dad was his mentor speaker. Some of his old scout leaders were there and that was great too!! We had dinner beforehand with Grandma and Grandpa Lang, Ryan and Amber (and baby James too!!) Thanks to all who supported Robert on his journey. It has been a long road but we are very proud of Robert for completing this achievement!!

Halloween 2008

Once again, Madison was a Disney Princess (2007 Sleeping Beauty, 2006 Snow White, 2005 Belle, 2004 Cinderella, 2003 Tinkerbell). This time The Little Mermaid!!! Unfortunately, in our neighborhood there are very few trick or treaters so Shannon took Madi to a few houses and that was it!! She got plenty of candy between the Ward Party and Trick or Treating!! It is nothing like our old neighberhood where there is a steady flow of ghosts and goblins for a couple of hours-oh well it's a trade off. Today it is about 75 degrees so I will not complain!!!!
