We took a hay ride, went in the pig pen and picked pumpkins!!! She has become a great reader. She gets 100% on all her spelling tests. She begs to do her homework right when she gets home! She has taken afterschool art classes in drawing and clay making. She has been taking swim lessons for the past several months and is doing really well. She will probably try out for YMCA swim team next year! In addition she is a very sweet young lady and has many friends! I am so proud of her!! They are trying to get each kid to read 20 minutes a night 6 nights a week for six weeks for a total of a half of a million minutes!!!! WOW! So the school put on a few activities in the evenings for the kids. One was bubbleology. This guy came an put on a really cool bubble show! We thought maybe we could get a deal on tickets to a show while there. We went to the discount ticket place with a couple of shows in mind (not Cher though)and they had a few seats left to Cher-we thought that could be good-so we went for it!!! IT WAS GREAT!!! At 62 she is still amazing. She had lots of flashbacks from the Sonny and Cher Days! She rocked it and we had a great time!! They made the cute little butterfly. The share for the week was to take a shoe box and decorate it for your Valentine cards. The top picture is Madi with the box she made. After they exchaged Valentines they had cookies and cupcakes out on the grass!!
